Textiles

I do all of my own weaving at home in my Studio. I have 9 looms, two spinning wheels, and an enormous collection of related equipment, yarns, spinning fibers and fabrics. Most of my pieces are one of a kind. My style is a combination of traditional and contemporary, using simple designs and often muted and neutral colors. I accomplish this through the use of my own hand spun yarns and other hand-dyed yarns, and fabrics which I use in combination with commercial yarns and fabrics. BIO I grew up in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Both of my parents were accomplished artists. In High School, I was given a loom for Christmas. Now; over 45 years later, I have 9 looms, 2 spinning wheels, and a vast collection of related tools, fibers, and fabrics. I do all my work at home in my studio, and create pieces with a blend of contemporary, and traditional styles. I hand dye many of my yarns, and fabrics, and combine them with commercially made yarns. I like to add surface embellishments, and glass beads to some of my wearable pieces
