On Friday Evening, May 4th, HAM will host a gala and exhibition representing all of the Artists Represented on our Profile Page, There will be refreshments, it is free and open to the public. This is a benefit exhibition – all of the artwork is for sale with 50% of each sale going to the artist, 25% benefiting HAM, and 25% funding THAT for our 2019 Tour. 


Other events at the Museum during THAT:

In the River Gallery we’ll have an exhibition by Mary Oestereicher Hamill called regarddisregard: a collaboration with men and women who are homeless. On the third floor, our Young Artists Showcase continues. Art from students at Hunterdon Central High School, North Hunterdon High School and Thomas B. Conley School will be featured. There’s an opening reception on Saturday from 3 to 4 p.m.
Regarding classes and workshops, on Friday night we’ll have
Wine & Design Paint Party with Linda Schroeder (6 p.m.) —  Discover your inner artist in a fun and creative atmosphere, while artist Linda Schroeder walks you through the steps of creating your own painting on canvas.
Friday Night Figure Study (6:30 p.m.) —  This is an open studio in which artists may draw or paint from a model. All skill levels are welcome in this friendly and casual atmosphere.
On Saturday: Intro to Gouche Workshop with Margaret Fanning (2 p.m.) — This workshop will provide a basic introduction to gouache (opaque watercolor) and the materials and practices that are used.



The Hunterdon Art Museum presents changing exhibitions of contemporary art, craft and design in a 19th century stone mill listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Founded in 1952, the Museum showcases works by internationally recognized and emerging contemporary artists. It also offers a dynamic schedule of art classes and workshops for children and adults, and a popular summer camp program. The Hunterdon Art Museum is a landmark regional art center featuring works by contemporary artists and offering a wide range of art classes and workshops for children and adults.
