WHITTEMORECCC – THEN & NOW – Opening Reception, Saturday, MAY 6, 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Originally intended as part of WhittemoreCCC’s 5th anniversary celebration in 2021, THEN & NOW is a singular exhibit showcasing five artists who were the first to utilize the gallery at WCCC. Join us in welcoming TODD LAMBRIXCHRISTINA SORACE MACKINNONJEFF MCCONNELLBETH O’GRADY and SANDY ROSS as they explore how their work has evolved since 2016/2017 and share thoughts on their connection to Whittemore. Violinist Laura Giannini will be playing in the gardens during the May 6 Opening Reception. ARTJAM 2023 — ArtSpace’s annual “Pop-up Gallery” fundraising event is happening NOW through Saturday, MAY 27 in downtown Princeton, NJ. This rotating art exhibit and sale features a diverse collaboration of national and local artists, along with ArtSpace artists for a spirited program of inclusiveness. Over 100 artists and more than 1,000 creative works are represented throughout the event. 34TH RARITAN RIVER MUSIC FESTIVAL – The Legacy of Musical Traditions – Raritan River Music is the product of those who came before, set the stage, laid the foundation for creating the music and culture of today. This year, RRM honors the founders of musical organizations that have been influential in their lives, providing the legacy upon which Raritan River Music has grown to become an integral part of the community. The first concert is Sunday, MAY 6 featuring THE FOUR NATIONS ENSEMBLE – Les Grandes: French Baroque Music from Court & Concert. MODERN FOSSILS – UPCOMING SHOWS – CHECK OUT THE COMPLETE CALENDAR HEREMankind’s interaction with its natural environment is the basis and subject of this work. Just as natural fossils are the imprints of prehistoric life on earth, THAT Artists JUDITH MARCHAND and DAVID HOROWITZ have created “Modern Fossils”: pieces that ponder the substances we are currently leaving behind in our environment, to be unearthed far in the future. These artists were inspired by the embellished metal manhole and storm drain covers that are found in their local river towns. With these in mind, they create original plaster artworks, which represent their community’s impact on the waterways that sustain us and give us life.


DAVID SCOTT GALLERY is presenting Botanica: An Unlikely Garden, a group exhibition of seven artists from Central NJ and Bucks County, NOW through Saturday, JUNE 24. Opening reception is Saturday, MAY 20 from 2 PM to 5 PM. Works by THAT Artists SUSAN MANIA, ALISON SCHERR, ANN THOMAS and KATHLEEN THOMPSON are featured in the gallery, which is located in the offices of Berkshire Hathaway Fox & Roach – 253 Nassau St, Princeton, across from Blue Point Grill. ARTVENTURE – NOW through Wednesday, MAY 31 Twelve ArtVenture Flemington members are exhibiting a group show of photographs and acrylic, oil, and mixed media paintings on the first and second floors of the North Branch County Library, 65 Halstead Street, Clinton.


ARTYARD – SHOES: A LOVE STORY, PAUL BOWEN: DRIFT and AS IS – NOW through Sunday, MAY 21. Artwork by THAT artists VALERIE HUHN and DAVID HOROWITZ are part of the SHOES exhibition.

Congratulations to THAT Artists RJ CALABRESE, JEANINE PENNELL and WES SHERMAN on their early acceptance for the 5TH EDITION OF ART FAIR 14C! This highly competitive show will be on view Thursday, OCTOBER 12 through Sunday, OCTOBER 15 at the historic terminal building in Liberty State Park, Jersey City.

Congratulations to THAT Artist’s TERRI FRASER and VALERIE HUHN for joining the group of contemporary emerging and established artists represented by IVY BROWN GALLERY.

This is your chance to present your work and support our endeavor to transform what is just an old bank into a lively creative Art & Cultural Center enriching this community.  Makers Alley’s membership drive starts with a call for submissions to its Spring Members Exhibition this coming June.  By becoming a member you are eligible to enter your work in the Spring Exhibition! This is an excellent opportunity to open the vault, and to be a part of a vibrant and supportive artistic community, while showcasing your talent and creativity.  Not yet a member? No problem! It won’t break the bank. Memberships help fund the development of the Art & Culture Center with the added benefit of being considered for this 3-week exhibition!  Exhibition will be on view Saturday, JUNE 3 through Sunday, JUNE 25.
